How Does this Treatment Work?

The procedure itself is quite pleasant and usually takes about 120-180min, similar to other nourishing hair therapies you may have encountered before. The first step is to wash the hair with an alkaline shampoo that opens the hair cuticle and cleanses it from impurities. Then we carefully dry the hair and apply the main product – at MV Salon we use the Cocochoco series. The product itself looks like a hair cream and is applied carefully to each individual strand. The stylist's skill is crucial at this stage – we do not recommend doing this at home by yourself. After that, we leave the treatment to work for 30 minutes. Finally, we dry the hair and laminate each strand with a press that fixes and seals the hair for maximum effect.

How Long Does the Effect of this Treatment Last?

On average, the effect of the treatment lasts between 3 and 5 months, with most people experiencing it for about 3 or 4 months. After that, it is recommended to repeat the treatment.

To maintain the effect of the treatment for longer, we recommend using the full range of Cocochoco post-care products, which include sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners, as well as the Cocochoco hair mask, which can be applied 1-2 times a week.

Don't forget to follow your stylist's general recommendations and advice – this is the only way to guarantee lasting results of the treatment.

What to expect after the procedure?

The most important thing to snote is that this treatment really works! From the very beginning, you will see a noticeable difference in your hair, and styling your hair will be much easier and faster. How do we know this? It is important to mention that this is not a treatment that will change the structure of your hair. It will not straighten curly hair. But it will improve the natural look of your hair by filling the gaps in the strands of your hair. Your hair will be healthier, softer, shinier, denser and livelier. Additionally, it will look more fresh, it won't tangle as much and your split ends will disappear.

How safe is the product we use in this treatment, and are there any ingredients that can be harmful?

How can I take care of my hair after the treatment?

Our stylists will give you detailed instructions for hair care after the treatment. Here are the most important ones that you should follow during the first 24 hours after the treatment:

• Keep your hair dry - do not wash it and avoid moisture. And if it accidentally gets wet, quickly dry it and straighten it with a flat iron.
• Keep your hair straight - do not tie it with elastics or hairpins, do not wear headbands, and do not style it in any way.
• Do not wear a hat, as it can also disrupt the shape of your hair.
• If your hair gets curly or frizzy overnight, straighten it with a flat iron in the morning.

It is very important to apply the proper hair care after the treatment, so that its effect can be maximally prolonged. Wash your hair as often as you normally do, and we recommend using the Cocochoco sulfate-free professional shampoo. After each wash, apply the Cocochoco professional conditioner, which does not contain silicone. After washing, dry your hair with a hair dryer for a better effect. Avoid invasive styling products that contain alcohol. Additionally, once a week, you can use a professional hair mask with coconut from the same product line. It will make your hair smooth, soft, shiny, and healthy. If you follow these tips, you will enjoy healthy and beautiful hair for as long as possible after the treatment.
